In 2020, Brownstone was hired to execute a 60-day public relations campaign for PHLConnectED, a City of Philadelphia education initiative to connect eligible K–12 student households with access to reliable internet service at no cost. The focus was to inform parents and guardians of students enrolled in the School District of Philadelphia and living in key zip codes of this free program.
The City of Philadelphia and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey provided a list of zip codes for targeting, which allowed Brownstone to create a targeted digital media campaign that got in front of our audience. Additionally, Brownstone allocated funds for a radio spend with minority-focused and/or minority-led media outlets.
